OVERVIEW

The Hangar map is an active airport hangar experiencing light rain with minimal delays to travel expected. That said this is no ordinary airport. The map offers a unique challenge with several angles to cover. Aircraft service bay (The Pit) at the lowest point to the top of the plane you will need to look up down and all around on this map. This map is best suited for players who prefer a more slow play as it’s a SnD fan favorite, but still it is possible to get high scores in FFA.

TACTICS

The Hangar map is very open, but don’t let that fool you there are 4 main entry points that each provide cover to help make your push into the hangar a successful one. Synchronous multi entry breaching helps in this one. Also speed and staying together are key.

BEST HIDING AREAS

There are several good spots the tarmac is great for sniping. You have several choices for cover and paired with a darker character you become almost invisible. You could also opt for high spots on top of the plane, in the office, by the wire spool, or on the catwalk. Other points of interest are crates (top right of hangar) , Utility room (far right corner), Control room (stop shooting the monitors we are tired of replacing them), the workroom (left side of hangar middle), half open door (right side of the front of hangar), or either of the workspaces defined by color.

WEAPON SUGGESTIONS

The Hangar map is best played with any weapon combo depending on your play style. Any of the rifles work well here and the Trauma can be a great option for all around utility. The snipers and campers on this map can make life difficult, so make sure to keep a close eye on your surroundings and choose your weapon accordingly.

LOADOUT SUGGESTIONS

For the Hangar map, we suggest the following loadout: Viper, Proto, or Trauma paired with either Ninja/ Flak jacket or Ninja/Phantom Perk. Good utilities to have are proximity mines and or motion detector.
The Health paired with RPG and Turret is a good kill streak loadout.
The Radar paired with drone and dogs kill streak loadout works well too.
In conclusion, the Hangar map offers a unique challenge with its mix of long-range play styles in the vast open hangar to inside the plane with up close battles. Use the multiple corners and array of hiding spots both high and low to your advantage. With practice you can become the ace of this map.
