OVERVIEW

The Highrise map is an active construction site atop a skyscraper. There will be lots of references to construction materials drywall, crane, and porta potty. The map is a vertical one with 5 to 6 levels if you count the crane. With it being an active construction site you have a fair amount of cover on each level. The verticality of this map allows for fast assaults or slow breaches. SnD is a very good choice for this map. FFA is also fun with popular spots being fought for.

TACTICS

The Highrise map is the traditional high man wins scenario. The best spots are on the top level by the crane anywhere on that floor other spot there is called drywall (angled piece of drywall players get under). Triple stairs (on the way up to ladder to top floor near crane) is another good spot to look for players. The elevator shaft is another spot players will watch or use to get to lower floors by dropping down. This can also work on some sides of the building where you can drop off the side to lower levels.

BEST HIDING AREAS

There are several good spots on the top floor the drywall or on the other side of the same floor by the oil drums are both great you just have to watch the ladder. The crane is also a good spot that offers great angles and a escape route via the board hanging from the crane. There are many landmarks there is scaffolding (route up from lower levels comes up near crane), Elevator (near Scaffolding), triple stairs( near ladder that leads up to top level). Porta potties are on 2 levels one is near the crane and the other is on the 2 floor that is near a bomb plant site that is a great spot to guard.

WEAPON SUGGESTIONS

The Highrise map is best played with close quarters weapons to mid ranged ones this map tends to be played fast and furious so sterling or trauma can be a good choice to win the close up battles but still have some range too.

LOADOUT SUGGESTIONS

For the Highrise map we suggest the following loadout: Viper, Sterling, or Trauma paired with either Ninja/ Flak jacket or Ninja/Phantom Perk. Good utilities to have are proximity mines and or motion detector.
The Health paired with RPG and Turret is a good kill streak loadout.
The Radar paired with drone and dogs kill streak loadout works well too.
In conclusion, the Highrise map offers a different way to play with lots of high spots that are high risk but high reward. The map is a favorite for SnD, TDM, and FFA. Learn where you can and can’t drop off the sides and work on your parkour and you can become the best at this map.
