The Veranda is a clean, high value home of a wealthy land-owner, abandoned after news of the war broke. Sitting high on the precipice of a cliff overlooking the ocean, news of the war splash the television screens while party music plays throughout. The still lived-in feel suggests a hasty evacuation. Here is what you need to know.

Zone 1: Pool

Central and most open is the pool area. Equipped with an in-pool lounge, the pool makes up a great majority of the exterior region offering little advantage. A deep blue color makes anything else within its walls stand out in stark contrast. That is not to say cover does not exist. The lounge dead-center of the pool can make for a brief reprieve, until you are greeted with an explosive surprise.

Zone 2: First Floor

Floor 1 is dressed in various forms of entertainment from a movie theater, exercise room, lounging entrance hall, billiards table, and a bar with a full dining area. Do not get caught up in the luxuries, however, as you will have to run, slide, and jump your way through one end to the next just to survive the rainfall of bullets from the upper floors.

Zone 3: Second Floor

The coziest floor of Veranda, floor 2 is equipped with bedrooms, closets, driveway balcony, and office space. Outside the office is a small lounge with an adjacent balcony overseeing the pool, great for swan dives and cover. A strong location to hold for sure, with lots of possible routes and strongholds. Stuck between the first and second floor, however, has its disadvantages, requiring constant attention to all entry points. Sneaking can be difficult, so utilize the crawl spaces between rooms and surprise your enemy.

Zone 4: Third Floor

The party floor is floor 3! A large turfed center room with a round bed, hot tub, barbeque, and fireplace lounge sets the stage for pure entertainment bliss. The music is loud but does not drown out the gunfire. This floor is most desired and thusly most fought after. Great cover and perch locations make eliminating your target easy and safe. The peek advantage is clear so do not waste time occupying and controlling the third floor. Keep a steady hand and maintain your reflexes, because the stairs are not the only way to the top.

Armorers Choice

Veranda is suitable for all playstyles and weapon choices. Motion sensors, proximity mines, and Molotov’s are strong allies to attacking, defending or capturing an objective. Smokes make great cover or act as good distractions for an ambush or quick getaway. Grenades, stickies, and flash grenades are all beneficial depending on your objective. Pistols to dual wields, shotguns to assault rifles, any weapon will serve your need. Perks are a matter of preference making none of them better than another. So, suit up how you see fit in this entertaining and “rich” experience.
